Iron Maiden was formed back in 1975 out of Leyton in east London.  They have been a very successful band in their time putting out total of thirty-six albums: fifteen studio albums; ten live albums; four EPs; and seven compilations.  That’s quite an accomplishment indeed.

[WP7 Releases] May 2nd, 2012

1 05 2012

I’m not sure if someone new has taken over the release schedule for the Windows Phone games, but they sure have been on time for the last few weeks.  This week is no exception as Pac-Man Kart Rally hits the Windows Phone.

For the first time in history of Xbox Live games on the WP7 it will feature mulitplayer through a Wi-Fi connection (pretty much meaning that you have to have a buddy close by).  Fortunately or unfortunately, it does have an achievement that requires you to win 50 races in multiplayer.  So you and your buddy are going have to swap 100 races to obtain this achievement.

Pac-Man Kart Rally boasts 10 characters and 13 different race tracks for you pleasure.  These characters include:

Pac-Man characters:
Pac-Man
Blinky
Pinky
Inky
Clyde

Katamari characters:
The Prince
Ichigo

Dig Dug/Mr. Driller characters:
Hori Taizo
Hori Susumu

 Galaga character:
Fighter

You can probably already find Pac-Man Kart Rally on the marketplace already, but you will have to search for it as it’s not showing up under the Xbox Live games tab.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Debut Trailer

1 05 2012

So here is the debut trailer to one of the biggest franchises in gaming.  Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2.

So, what do you think?  Do you approve of this whole futuristic warfare?  But I have to believe that they’re starting to do what Ubisoft was doing with Ghost Recon…copying off the the other franchise.  But I guess we’ll just have to see how it all pans out…it is only one trailer after all…

1 05 2012

This week sees the release of the third Arcade NEXT games: Fable Heroes.  Not only do we get that game this week, but we also get Awesomenauts as well, despite the financial trouble that the publisher, dtp, is having.

Fable Heroes
Developer: Lionhead Studios
Publisher: Microsoft Studios
Price: 800 MSP

Fable Heroes is a fresh spin on the beloved Fable franchise in which up to four players play both cooperatively and competitively in this hack-and-slash adventure. Work together as heroes of Albion to defeat familiar foes and new enemies while collecting as many gold coins as possible to unlock upgrades, characters, and items in both this game and Fable: The Journey for Xbox 360.

Awesomenauts
Developer: Ronimo Games
Publisher: dtp entertainment
Price: 800 MSP

It’s the year 3587; conflict spans the stars. Huge robot armies are locked in an enduring stalemate. In their bid for galactic conquest they call upon the most powerful group of mercenaries in the universe: the Awesomenauts! Play as one of several Awesomenauts and storm the online arenas alone or with friends. Each Awesomenaut can be upgraded with their own unique items to suit different strategies. Expect new items and Awesomenauts to be added regularly! You like Awesomenauts? Also check out TNT Racers and Crazy Machines Elements.
