[PSA] Red Dead: Redemption Quadruples Your XP Until July 4th, 2011

For those of you who have not got your How The West Was Won achievement, this would be a great time to do so.  As Rockstar is giving us something else to celebrate this Independence Day Weekend.  4x Xp. Quadruple Xp.  So get out there and get your level 50 rank and get this achievement out of the way.  It starts 12:01AM Eastern on Friday July 1st until 11:59PM Eastern on Monday July 4th.

The 4X XP counts across all multiplayer modes. So pick your favorite one and go have fun grinding xp (or not, lol). Yes, this also includes the Undead Nightmare expansions as well.

[REVIEW] Terminator: Salvation

Terminator Salvation is developed by GRIN, whom you may know did Bionic
Commando, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, & Wanted: Weapons of Fate, and it is
published by Evolved Games. It is a third-person shooter that you can play alone
or you can play with a friend cooperatively throughout a very short 9 chapters,
or should I say missions?

The epic battle of man versus machine has carried it’s way over from film to video game form for us to enjoy..or so we think. Humanity is on the brink of extinction and you are John Conner, humanity’s last and best hope for survival. Terminator: Salvation takes place shortly before the movie opens up. You start the game by getting a distress call of some fellow companions caught out in Skynet’s grasp. Your mission?
Obvious…go out and save your fellow companions and make it through to the
end.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier BETA Date

Ubisoft has announced today that the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier BETA will in fact take place in Janurary 2012.  It was originally scheduled to roll out this summer, but as the game was pushed back to 2012 the BETA has since been pushed back as well.

I’d like to get my hands into this BETA as well.  I, for one, would like to see how good this game is actually going to play with Kinect.  I’m still skeptical about Ubisoft “adding Kinect capabilites to all future Tom Clancy games”.  I can see it’s uses, but I can also see the hardcore fanbase being a little discouraged if the Kinect capabilites are not optional.  Time will only tell I suppose.
